Easy appetizer: cheese and honey

On Friday's after work, Paul and I like to put together a plate of appetizers rather than making an entire dinner. Sitting down to a spread of fun nibbles and a few cocktails is an incredible way to unwind, but when our evening doesn't offer such a leisurely amount of time, I still like to pull together something to snack on. This little recipe of goat cheese and honey uses three ingredients and is ready in a matter of moments. The key is to use really good simple items, like a strong cheese (just buy a little piece if it's too expensive). If you don't have rosemary honey, just finely chop some fresh rosemary leaves and sprinkle them on top.

Does anyone else have weekend rituals like this one they would love to share?

  6. My husband and I do this all the time on Fridays. We love putting cheese and salami plates together, and enjoying a glass of red wine. It's a great start to the weekend :)

  7. I love a picnic for dinner! Sometimes Husband and I pick up a crusty french loaf, some strong cheese, proscuitto, strawberries, wine, and chocolate and try to pretend we are back in France :)
