Tough work

vintage blazer (with added pyramid studs from here), J.Crew blouse, Forever 21 jeans, Zara heels, vintage bracelet, Cartier watch

I'm sure it's pretty apparent that I'm a fan of color and feminine touches, but I have always loved a slightly disheveled or tough look too. Whether it's slept in hair, a leather jacket, or in this case over-sized studs on a blazer. I picked out these pyramid studs a few years ago after falling in love with a 2007 Givenchy coat. I knew that purchase would never happen, so I did the next best thing and DIY'd my own version inspired by the collection. Five years later and the creation is still in my wardrobe, adding a little toughness to my polished blouses and jeans. After a long day at work, a quick change into the blazer and ankle strap heels made a perfect happy hour look that was a nice change from my office wear.
